Best Jeans for YOU!

13 Jul

Petite If you are a smaller and shorter person the best kind of jeans for you would be a light washed style.

Tall- The person with longer legs will look best with a cuffed bottom jean.

Flat Butt If your butt is not very big, the best type of jeans for you would be jeans with detail on the back side, pockets or jewels or both to extenuate that part of your body.

Curvy Butt- If your butt is a little more curvy then your best bet on a pair of jeans would be a darker wash.

Curvy All Over- If you are more of a curvy person, the best type of jeans for you would be black washed jeans.

Curvy Stomach- Ladies with a little more of a curvy mid section are better off with a pair of mid rise jeans.

Alright, Who Wore It Better’s are like my favorite thing ever! So, here are 5 looks on 2 different people and I will tell you who I think wore it better than you decided for yourself! Leave a comment if you feel like it!

Carmen Electra or Paris Hilton? This one is kinda tough. The dress that they are both wearing is really plain and needs to be dressed up, so even though she kinda looks mismatched, I’m going to say Paris Hilton wore it better.

Katie Holmes or Mary-Kate Olsen? Well, they both almost have this look the same way the only reason that I am going to pick Mary-Kate Olsen is because that sweater Katie Holmes has on is killing the whole outfit.

Blake Lively or Cameron Diaz? Cameron Diaz wins this one. Blake Lively tried to dress the mini dress up a little too much by adding black closed toed shoes. The dress is more casual, Cameron Diaz did a nice job keeping it casual.

Lauren Conrad or Kim Kardashian? I love this top, I love LC, and I love Kim K. But I think that Lauren Conrad wore it better.

Kimora Lee Simmons or Kristen Stewart? Most definitely Kristen Stewart. Kimora made a bad decision pairing the mini dress with those black what look to be leather leggings and ankle boots. Eww.

Rachel Zoe

Rachel Zoe has got to be the most famous celebrity stylist in all of Hollywood and beyond. She has styled celeb’s from Cameron Diaz to Anne Hathaway and many more. She really does know what she is doing when it comes to be fashion. When you’re a young girl and someone asks you what you want to be when you grow up, most would say a princess or a movie star, well I just wanted to be Rachel Zoe! This woman is defiantly one of my fashion idols. Not only can she dress anyone for perfection, her style is also outstanding, or as said by Rachel Zoe, ‘Its bananas!’.

Dear Followers,

I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy with how well Peaceluvandfashion is going, so I would just like to send out a BIG thank you to all of you who read my blog, it is greatly appreciated. Just the other day I went over the 600 view mark, and that is huge for me! My goal is to hit 1,000 views by the last day in July. I can’t do this alone so I need all of your help by spreading the word to everyone you think would be interested in reading my blog.

Now, on to the next order of business. I have a book that I write all of my random ideas to blog about, I call it “THE book”. “THE book” is running a little low on ideas and I just want to welcome suggestions from any of my readers. Y0u can leave me a comment here, or if you are my friend on facebook, leave me a comment there. If you feel like I might think your suggestion is stupid, anonymously send it to me on formspring ( All of the ideas I get, whether I think they are good at the time or not, get written down into “THE book”. So please, don’t be shy, if there is something you want fashion advice on, or want to read more about a certain aspect of style that I am just not covering, LET ME KNOW! (:

Alright, well last but not least, I have received an anonymous suggestions that I should start posting pictures of outfits that I actually wear. So I have three things to say about that. First, a big thank you to the person that sent me that suggestion. Second, yes, I have wanted to start doing that. A lot of other fashion blogs that I follow myself do that and I really like the idea. Third, I have put that idea into motion and am starting to work on it. I havent quite decided what I plan to do exactly yet, but it’s coming so stay tuned. Another idea that I have got from someone is the whole YouTube tutorial idea, and I am also working on that too so everyone just hold tight and new and wonderful things will soon be coming to all of you.

Again, thanks all of you so much. I am soooo very grateful to each and every one of you dedicated readers. Without you guys, Peaceluvandfashion is nothing. Keeps spreading the word and remember I am trying to hit 1,000 views by the last day of July! Stay classy. (:

Happy Feet

High heels are a must. Whether you are rockin’ stilettos or pumps, when you slip on a pair they any girl feel like a million bucks and usually make the pain worth it, remember, beauty is pain, dolls. (:

Personally, I think that you HAVE to start your shoe collection with the basics. Every girl needs just a simple black heel. The pair of heels dont have to be extravagant but just a heel that you can pair with anything.

Then, once you have the basic’s, you can move on to more fun heels. Heels that you wont be able to wear with everything, but you buy just because. I really love the material on these pumps. I love the pink, and I have also seen this same style in a red material that I really love. I have some in black, kinda like this.

I am realizing now that red high heels are actually a basic and that I should have put them up with the black ones, but oh well! Yes, I think that every girl should have a pair of bold red high heels. No particular style, you just need a pair. (;

Honestly, I don’t think that sparkly heels are for everyone. You would really have to know how to pull it off. I think they are brilliant but you have to be careful. My best advice on how to pull of the sparkly heel would to pair it with something simple, they are more dressy so I would put them together with a simple, but yet elegant black dress.

Alright, the whole floral print heel trend is kinda new to me, but I really do like it. I love floral prints. And now, the sock going with the heels is a new thing to me, but I really like it actually. I know people have been wearing socks with their heels but I have never seen it done with a floral print. I approve this style, its cute. (:

Something I really enjoy about fashion is couture photography. To some people it doesn’t make a lot of sense but to me, its like art at its finest. Couture fashion really breaks the mold and steps outside of the box into a whole new world. You dont alway have to understand it, an outfit may be put together a way that makes you think “oh no” and the person next to you could be saying “oh yes”.  I personally think there is no rhyme or reason to how couture fashion is brought together, I think it’s just about feeling the styles just as a painter would feel as they went crazy on a blank canvas. Enjoy, and as you look over these photos, take a minute on each one to see if you discover the beauty and creativity behind each one. xoxo-Becca (:

I thought in honor of my latest post, Coco Chanel, I would talk more about the most timeless trend that she created, The LBD (Little Black Dress). The LBD is a dress that can look good on any and every girl. It’s a dress that you can jazz up by pairing it with some glamorous red pumps, sparkling jewels, and a trendy clutch. Or it’s that dress for the night when you feel like nothing looks right, it always comes to your rescue. So whether you’re dressing it up or down, The LBD is a must have for every lady! (:

Coco Chanel

Well, anyone who really knows me, would know that I LOVE Coco Chanel. She is a timeless designer who created some timeless trends. For example, every female knows, or should know, that every woman looks good in ‘The Little Black Dress’. If it weren’t for Chanel, who knows if this trend would have ever been invented. Not only was she a wonderful designer, she has a wonderful story too, that would leave anyone in their right mind feeling inspired! Coco Chanel was left as an orphan with her younger sister. By the time she was old enough to leave the orphanage, she was hesitant to leave her little sister behind, but in the end decided that she would be okay and that it was best for her to leave. For this young woman, that day was the very beginning of her success story. Even though she just started out as a seamstress, over the years through the good and the bad, through falling in love then loosing your love, she managed to make herself a name that everyone all over the world would remember for years to come. All in all, I think Coco Chanel is one of the best designers of all time and is also one of the most inspirational women ever and that is why I love her sooo much.

My FAVORITE Coco Chanel Quotes:

A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous. – Coco Chanel

Fashion fades, only style remains the same. – Coco Chanel

In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different. – Coco Chanel

Success is often achieved by those who don’t know that failure is inevitable.- Coco Chanel
